Layout to cut the elevator tube hole

Another shot of the pre-drilling layout work. The + mark at "H" marks the proposed first 1/2" hole location. I looked at where the elevator control horn inside the fuse was located, then from outside looked along the elevator horn toward that spot (N) to pick this hole location (H) more or less in the middle of that sight line.
